DONALD B. GOOCH, '35ed, M.Des. '39, Professor of Design, joined the faculty twenty years ago, and has at one time or another taught just about all courses offered by the College of Architecture and Design. Now he teaches primarily information design and lettering. Professor Gooch has re ceived countless awards for his works, and he has been lecturer, graphic design consultant and art director for several agencies, in addition to doing illustra tions and murals for various firms. He has exhibited paintings at Michigan Artists Exhibition, Pepsi Cola Exhibi tion, Old Northwest Territory Ex hibition and elsewhere. He was Chairman of the 1956 Advertising Conference at the University and Editor of "Advertising to the American Taste", a College of Architecture and Design publication of 1956. Professor Gooch designed the book, "The Story of Willow Run," pub lished by the University Press.
